The Expo’s support of clean energy will prevent 84,715 pounds of carbon dioxide, a leading greenhouse gas, from entering the atmosphere. This is the same environmental benefit provided by taking 7 cars off the road for a year.

A carbon footprint is the measure of impact these activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of greenhouse gases produced.
